Shimano Navi 8000 PG

Matched with Tenryu JigZam PE 3-5, 5'7''. Mainly for medium jigging; below 200gms. Use it occasionally for medium casting. So far so good.

The only downside of this reel is the drag knob, which is a bit too sensitive; as in the ratio of turn and drag poundage. Can be dangerous if you have panicky fingers and a speeding fish peeling lines. Tendency to overlock the drag is there.

The spool requires some attention after you've used it for saltwater. Never leave your line in your spool. And this is not just for Navi. It's for any reel.
