Accurate 665 - Jigging Machine

My most trusted reel and weapon of choice for any heavy jigging, and some occasional bottom. Recently loaded it with 500m of 80lbs Kitaya Batline braid. Matched with Daiwa Saltiga Deep 55B, PE 6.

Got the T-bar handle in M'sia and the elongated arm from S'pore and just fixed them up myself. The longer arm gives better cranking power, which is much needed as it's a HG reel.

Hey dood

Am from Perth Western Australia. I was wondering if you could provide me with some advice on the Accurate 665. I want to use it for bottom bouncing about 150m deep with a 24oz sinker. Do you think the 6.1 ratio will be good enough to wind up some an item with ease? or would the 4.1 be better?

Honestly, I've only used my 665 for bottom couple of times at depth of 50m - 100m with smaller sinkers. Mine was 6.1 ratio and it was alright. But IMO, if you are looking for a bottom reel, get the 4.1 reel. Not just for the heavy sinkers, but also for cranking up fishes. The 6.1 just don't have the power to crank anything more than your sinker.
